Session Review
Proceeding from my last official session, I applied additional content to both my mood board and ideas board; however, after browsing through more symbols of heraldry I found that the hourglass symbol would be an excellent symbol to use for my fictional broadcast logo.
Despite the hourglass representing mortality and the measurement of time I believe it is an excellent image to use for a news show. Since it would visually show that my news show will inform its audience for scheduled moments of the day similar to radio news and the various ten-minute updates that appear on ITV.
In addition, I have decided to use a green colour palette for my design since compared to the other news station such as BBC, Channel 4. Five and ITV, green has not been taken and is an aesthetically pleasing colour that I personally like.
I have also referred to my mood board with the other tv station logos and I have mostly taken inspiration from BBC and Channel 4 news.
Furthermore, I have been contemplating on the title of my broadcast news and currently, I prefer either the ??? report or network.
