Session Review
Once I captured a satisfactory collection of foley recordings, I applied an effect I have not used before called "Surround Reverb" which was useful for applying the right noise to recordings such as ambient recordings of the local area where dogs and birds are all making a variety of cries and actions.

| Applying the notch filter to the CD spin sound |
Returning to the astral noise sound piece, this entire session lasted for a duration of three days since the previous file was simply edited further by dappling effects such as the notch filter to the CD spin foley sound since it needed to sound as if a machine was being activated and emitted a radiated pulse.
Moreover, I had to cut and edit the gasp foley sound since there were a few sound pollutions of me hitting the microphone in the studio.
Furthermore, after taking a rest day and walking along the local woodland path I noticed a lot of new sounds I could capture to enhance the sound piece further. Since I made the decision that there would be a minute of audio to set the scene of the landscape before the character encounters the strange noise in the woods.
Once I captured a satisfactory collection of foley recordings, I applied an effect I have not used before called "Surround Reverb" which was useful for applying the right noise to recordings such as ambient recordings of the local area where dogs and birds are all making a variety of cries and actions.

Overall I am pleased with this session in particular because the sound piece has greatly been improved since it now features a wider variety of ambient background noises which improve the narrative greatly. In addition, I will consider to use surround reverb for my noir sound piece as well since it might prove useful.
