Session Review
Returning to the class session, I had to present my "Astro 101" concept to my peers and lecturer and in order to plan the vents of the motion graphic effect fully, I created both a generic rough storyboard and a small comic strip as displayed in figure a.
However, arriving late I instead managed to present my final developed concept for the Astronomy 101 opening. Which David's comments were...
Moreover, soon after my peers expressed their opinions on my concept I began to listen to more of the classical guitar while letting my motion graphic play, in order to find the right sound to apply to the animation.
In particular, I started to listen to Spanish guitar player Andres Segovia, his style of sound was indeed something I liked but I also researched medieval lutes and guitars in order to create a mixed soundtrack if need be to reinforce the emotions I am trying to convey in my motion graphic.
In addition, as well as studying the type of sound I wanted to apply, I studied various flower petals opening up with the aid of GIFs since I wanted to apply a similar transformation for when the sun rays appeared opening up like flower petals (figure c).
